Cartridge fuses are designed to protect appliances from destruction in the event of a fault. Such fuses are directly mounted in appliances and are usually difficult to access. In case of replacement, care has to be taken to select the correct voltage and ampere rating. All necessary data can be found in the appliance documentation and on the metal caps of the fuses.
